MAVT Drivers

Job Summary
• HMT is currently hiring Full-time, Part-time, & per diem shift MAVT & CPR drivers. Employee must meet company criteria's & follow all company policies & procedures upon hiring. HMT is looking for responsible drivers who are friendly, caring & kind to all patients being transported from their homes/facilities to their destinations (medical appointments, dialysis centers and all other appointments). Drivers are responsible for the well being and safety of all patients being transported.


Job Qualifications
• Valid drivers license, MAVT & CPR certified
• Clean driving & criminal background checks
• Minimum of 1 year experience ( preferable but not limited)
• Must pass mandatory and random drug and alcohol screening

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to actively engage in conversations with clients
• Ability to present oneself as well as the company in a professional manner
• Uses time efficiently and completes work in timely manner
• Observes safety and security procedures
• Adapts to changes in the work environment
• Adapts driving style to current weather conditions
• Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events


Physical Demands
• Regularly required to sit
• Occasionally required to lift/move patients up to 150pds and occasionally lift/move patients up to 250pds (assistance will be provided.

• Exposure to outside weather conditions
