LOCATED NEAR MINEOLA, NY

Full service clinical laboratory offering wide variety of clinical testing, providing accurate results

Licensed and accredited by College of American Pathologists, NY State Dept. of Health, the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services, US Dept. of Health and Human Services and PA Dept. of Health

Seeking:  Medical Lab Technologist to work MON-FRI, 12:00 am – 8:30 am with Saturday rotations

RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs moderate to highly complex testing

Analyzes and reviews test results and quality control results

Troubleshoots test systems, taking remedial action when necessary

Follows lab procedures to ensure specimen integrity when handling and processing

Follows departmental policies and procedures to include quality control, quality assurance safety and departmental programs

QUALIFICATIONS

BS Degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Lab Science

NYS Dept. of Ed License as Medical Technologist – MUST HAVE

Certification in area of Clinical Laboratory Science by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or ASCP eligible preferred
