Leading medical waste company in the Northeastern region is looking for a dedicated, self-starting individual who is interested in a rewarding career opportunity.

Job Description:

In this role, you would act as the face of our company in the medical field, with the opportunity to act as a liaison between our clients and the home office. Your responsibilities would include:

·        The safe transport of regulated medical waste including expired pharmaceuticals and hazardous material.

·        Proper handling and destruction of sensitive information from affiliated medical practices.

·        Correctly labeling, loading, transporting, and unloading materials with the proper dedicated equipment.

·        Maintain the proper upkeep of the shop and company vehicles. 

·        Possible new projects in the field.

·        Infrequent overnight stays may be required for training purposes. 

·        Overtime may be required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 21 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED
• 2 years professional driving experience 
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Valid driver’s license
• Clean motor vehicle record
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post-offer) drug screen, background and criminal background checks
• Ability to pass DOT physical and maintain DOT card
• Ability to interact effectively with a wide spectrum of people and maintain composure if presented with a stressful situation
• Must be punctual and able to work the hours necessary to accommodate the route (working within our customers’ business hours)
• Must be able to manipulate packages weighing up to 70 lbs without assistance
• Must be able to effectively utilize office and warehouse equipment as required/directed in the performance of duties and responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior HAZWOPER/OSHA/RCRA Training
