We’re a 124-year-old nonprofit agency seeking Mental Health Counselors (both full-time and part-time) to join our team. In this role, you’ll enjoy scheduling flexibility, growth opportunities, excellent benefits, and a collaborative work culture that values your contributions.

Our clinical team integrates play and expressive therapies, views clients through a strengths-based lens, and believes in the power of the therapeutic relationship to foster healing and positive change.

Who We're Looking For:

We welcome licensed and licensed-eligible outpatient counselors who thrive in a team-based environment, value collaboration, and are committed to ongoing learning and development. We are especially interested in candidates who have a passion for working with young children.

Qualifications:

· Licensed or license-eligible as an LPC or LCSW in Virginia

· Graduate of an accredited counseling or social work program

· Eligible to register a clinical supervisor with the Virginia Department of Health Professions (licensure supervision is provided)

· Experience with trauma-focused therapies is a plus

· Bilingual ability is desirable

· Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices—or a willingness to learn—is required

· Basic computer literacy and willingness to use an electronic health record system
