Are you a musician or board-certified music therapist with a compassionate heart? Join our hospice team as a Music Therapy Volunteer and use the gift of music to bring peace, comfort, and connection to patients and families during the end-of-life journey.
What You’ll Do:
  • Provide live music experiences for hospice patients in homes, care centers, or inpatient facilities
  • Use soothing music to help ease pain, anxiety, and emotional distress
  • Play instruments, sing familiar songs, or create calming soundscapes tailored to each patient’s preferences
  • Offer gentle, compassionate presence and support for family members and caregivers
  • Collaborate with the hospice care team to ensure appropriate, respectful, and meaningful visits
What You’ll Need:
 Experience as a musician, singer, or board-certified music therapist
 Compassionate, sensitive, and calming presence
 Comfort working with individuals who are terminally ill and their families
 Ability to adapt music selection and delivery to different needs, moods, and situations
