Outside Service Technician - Middle Tennessee

Outside Service Technicians needed to service commercial beverage equipment such as coffee brewers, coffee grinders, espresso machines, ice tea machines, etc...

Individuals in this role are provided with: a vehicle, uniform, cell phone, and gas card.

REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive dispatched service calls as assigned and ensure prompt response based on estimated time of arrival (ETA).
• Troubleshoot or diagnose equipment malfunctions utilizing standard electrical test equipment such as volt/ohm meters to identify and implement corrective action and perform preventative maintenance. Check calibration and ensure machine is clean.
• Maintain inventory and maintenance on equipment such as: parts and tools
• Document all work performed and close out all activities upon completion.
  
• In some locations, the Service Technician will be responsible for machine movement and various other duties as assigned.
• Must be able to work overtime when needed.

• Must be self-starter and be able to accomplish tasks in a timely manner.
• Great oral and written communication skills.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of two (2) years working as a service technician, will consider any candidate with mechanical aptitude. In-house and factory training will be provided on various equipment.
• Graduate of Technical or Vocational School a plus.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record a must.
• Ability to lift 55 lbs or more on a regular basis. Occasional lifting in excess of 70 lbs required.
• Ability to drive more than 40% of the time.
• Ability to pass a Background Check.
• Must have non-skid (slip resistant) shoes .
