Responsibilities

• Governance and control of projects
• Creates and adheres to data integrity rules and processes
• Understands and creates engineering drawings and specifications
• Utilizes TOPS software to create pallet diagrams
• Utilizes AutoCAD and Inventor design software to create drawings for customer approval
• Conducts manufacturing equipment and validation testing
• Utilizes statistical and analytical techniques
• Communicates with all levels of the organization
• Creates and maintains item master data, routing, bill of material and classification data in SAP
• Conducts regular audits of data to ensure a high standard of data quality and authentication
• Participates in new product development teams providing research, guidance and recommendations regarding new parts, specs and BOM (Bill of Materials) structure  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Packaging, Materials or Mechanical)
• 2-4 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Packaging
• Glass manufacturing experience a plus
• Experienced in communications with all levels of the organization
• Knowledge of drafting and the ability to create and understand engineering drawings and specifications
• Experience with AutoCAD, Inventor and TOPS
• Experience with manufacturing equipment
• Familiarity with validation testing methods
• Experience with cost modeling a plus
• SAP experience a plus
• Knowledge of statistical and analytical techniques
