Job Description:The successful candidate will have experience preparing and managing Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, site remediation design and oversight, compliance audits, and a strong knowledge of state and federal regulations. The successful candidate will manage environmental projects, including meeting and interacting with the client, and managing project budgets. The candidate will also coordinate and participate in field activities, including logging of borings, test pits, trenches and cores; evaluating geologic and hydrogeologic conditions; and sampling soil, soil gas, and groundwater; and will prepare environmental proposals and reports. Duties of the Project Geologist will also include providing technical support to staff-level engineers, geologists, and field technicians.

Education:B.S./B.A./M.S. in Geology

Required Skills:The candidate will have a bachelor's or master's degree and a minimum of four years experience in environmental consulting. The ideal candidate will bring local experience and familiarity with the local geologic practice. The candidate should be a team player, be detail oriented, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience with construction activities is also desired. Professional registration is required.
