 DESCRIPTION

The QA Inspector will inspect machined parts throughout manufacturing process; first article, in-process, final and incoming inspections.

 RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform dimensional/ visual inspections using precision measuring equipment; CMM, micrometers, depth micrometers, bore, thread and pin gauges, calipers etc…
• Produce and analyze inspection reports and documentation.
• Identify and take corrective action on divergent product/ material.
• Apply GD &T Principles to read and interpret manufacturing drawings.
• Work with tight tolerances in a fast paced environment.
• Calibrate gages; calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, etc...

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 3 years’ parts inspection experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Solid knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• CMM experience; Calypso Programming experience preferable.
