DESCRIPTION

The Quality Assurance Manager will report to the Division Manager, focus on improving and developing new programs and procedures, and responsible of giving our customers the utmost highest level of quality and service.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Apply Food Safety and Quality Systems policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate as Plant HACCP Team Lead and Plant SQF Practitioner.
• Maintain and implement finish specifications of the products.
• Manage Food Safety and Quality Systems Programs and HACCP programs.
• Administer Food Safety and Quality Systems Programs for Warehouse Departments.
• Responsible of the Food Safety and Quality Systems programs when it comes to pest control, GMP, Recall, Allergen, Sanitation, Calibration, and Customer Complaints.
• Ensure that the HACCP program meets corporate, customer, and regulatory necessities.
• Enable third party, customer, and monitoring audits for the plant.
• Ensure food safety by internal reviews, identifying root causes, implementing corrective actions, and working with production and engineers to verify line changes.
• Develop Quality Technicians.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or associated with the technical field.
• Experience supervising employees (exempt and non-exempt).
• Pasta Manufacturing is preferred.
• Executing and maintaining SQF systems.
• At least 5 years in Quality Assurance in food, beverage, or ingredients.
• Supervisory Experience with a minimum of 3 years.
• Skillful with PC software.
• HACCP certified is a plus.
