Sales Account Executive

We are seeking a motivated and aggressive Sales Representative experienced in custom manufacturing of corrugated packaging and corrugated POP displays.  This person will make regular sales calls, follow up on sales leads, develop and deliver sales presentations, and close sales in a professional manner.  The sales account executive is responsible for profitably maintaining and growing company sales by developing and executing key account plans with high priority to strategic accounts in order to sustain a competitive edge.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Proactively prospect for new business at both existing and potential clients; establish viable prospect lists; follow up on sales leads and make cold calls to potential clients.
  • Follow and understand industry trends and technical development and how they affect target markets; manage targets and prospects in Salesforce.com.
  • Make direct client calls for the purpose of selling, servicing and consulting; follow up with clients on quoted projects and sample requests; deliver design samples to clients.
  • Manage current clients and grow existing business; identify potential new clients and strategically manage and develop overall sales portfolio.
  • Maintain knowledge of priority clients; keep accurate client records.
  • Present formal quotations to prospects for closing opportunities.
  • Close deals and finalize contracts.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with internal support personnel, especially Customer Service, Creative Services and Accounting.

 Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in outside sales in corrugated, POP, litho label and/or related industry.
  • Knowledge of the corrugated industry, container designs (characteristics and specifications), pricing and costing practices.
  • Structural design knowledge of corrugated packaging display, inner pack and die cut items.
  • Proven sales performer that can meet and exceed annual sales growth.
  • Positive, upbeat personality.
  • Ability to be aggressive and “ask for the business.”
  • Mature, strong work ethic and able to work independently.
  • Must drive competitive advantage by responding quickly to client requests and then coordinate multiple priorities and projects successfully.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, including written, verbal, and effective presentation delivery.
  • Above-average computer skills necessary; experience with sales platform such as Salesforce.com.
