About us: New England Treatment Access, Inc. (NETA) is one of Massachusetts’s first medical marijuana dispensary provisional license holders. Education/Experience:
4+ Years of experience in security or related experience required. Supervisory/management experience required. Previous experience in personal security, loss prevention and large facility security and safety, preferred; Experience in the design, installation and management of security systems; Must be at least 21 years of age, able to meet all capabilities, able to perform the essential functions of the position.
Responsibilities:Follow NETA Policies & Procedures in the daily operations and fully comply with state medical marijuana regulations;Maintain all internal and external security related systems at all NETA facilities; Ensuring that all Security staff maintain safe and secure environment for customers and employees; Recommend, approve, onboard, train and supervise all security personnel (internal and external); Ensuring the provision of a secure premises and personnel by ensuring property patrols; monitoring of surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; limiting entry to only authorized staff and permitted visitors; Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing staff of policy and procedures; Ensures that all NETA coverage needs are met consistently and that security staff are working flexible hours, including weekends, as assigned to provide maximum coverage;Review & analyze security related incident reports; investigate and resolve all false alarms; Ensuring Security staff address, resolve and report security breaches in a timely manner, and providing a thorough review to ensure that all are addressed appropriately, following up and providing recommendations as necessary; Maintain regular testing, upkeep and repair of all security-related systems, ensuring all system are functioning accurately; Facilitate contracts with vendors for on-site work, including appropriate licensure, insurance, references, access limitations and performance expectations and maintain vendor files; Conduct introductory and ongoing security training for NETA staff; Conduct semi-annual review & revision of security procedures with the Executive Director, CFO, and Director of Operations; Program and maintain Access ID cards for each facility;Facilitate and maintain emergency preparedness plans to address potentially violent events;Establish procedures for each facility for the safekeeping of products, currency and valuables at all times; Review, investigate as necessary, and report to the DPH and appropriate law enforcement agency all losses from where possible criminal action is indicated; Establish and maintain satisfactory liaison with law enforcement officers at all levels.Other duties and tasks as assigned
Physical capability: Internal and external facility environments. Must have clear, verbal and written communications, stand and sit for prolonged periods of time. Ability to handle stress in performing multiple tasks as well as maintain good judgement in stressful situations. Ability to lift 60lbs unassisted.
Skills: Close attention to detail, leadership, interpersonal and multitasking skills, maintains judgement and accuracy within stressful situations. Able to work independently within a team environment. Must have the ability to multi-task. Maintains a professional demeanor and attitude
