We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer/Systems Admin to join our team. As a growing managed services provider supporting companies in a variety of industries, we need an individual who can wear multiple hats in a fast-paced environment. This position has room and intent for growth within the company. POSITION DUTIES

• Configure and install firewalls, switches, routers, and wireless
• Configure and install servers, including physical, virtual, and cloud-based servers, and Microsoft Exchange
• Document client network configurations, complying with ADS' standard documentation and communication practices
• Take ownership of all assigned tickets and ensure clear expectations are set for the client, continually update tickets to show the status, and see all assigned tickets to completion.
• Maintain client network infrastructure equipment by providing both remote and onsite support to ensure high levels of network uptime
• Create scope of work from project outlines in cooperation with ADS Virtual Client CIOs
• Assist other ADS team members to resolve technical issues and customer relationship issues as needed, providing sound leadership through example
• Suggest improvements to ADS’ business practices as recognized
• Create documentation and procedures as needed
• Be proactive in seeking additional duties and responsibility

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience
• Minimum of seven years of network administration experience
• Demonstrated experience in the implementation, configuration and administration of firewalls, wireless networks and broadband services
• Networking Project (Upgrades, Migrations, etc.): 3 years
• Server Project (Upgrades and migrations): 3 years
• Ability to administer layer 2 and layer 3 devices at an advanced level
• Experience with Cisco Unified Wireless including configuration of wireless LAN controllers is desirable
• Self-Starter/Self Directed individual that leads with high energy and passion for customer service
• Detail oriented team player that can also work independently with no supervision
• Experience training others in the use of software and hardware devices
• Operate a variety of computers, servers, peripherals and specialized software; utilize various hand and power tools as required; drive a vehicle to conduct work
• The person hired for the position of Lead Network Technician will be located in Chillicothe, Ohio but will require the ability to travel to customer locations
• Practical experience with ticket tracking systems (e.g. AutoTask, Service Now, CA Service Desk, Remedy)
• Experience with Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) and Operational Level Agreements (OLAs)
• Experience with SonicWall firewalls is a strong plus
• Experience working in an IT MSP (Managed Services Provider) environment

LEADERSHIP QUALIFICATIONS

• Serve as a lead over various projects, assignments and activities related to complex network installation, maintenance, repair and modification; train and provide work direction and guidance to assigned staff; assign employee duties, coordinate projects and review completed work for accuracy, completeness and compliance with established standards, requirements and procedures
• Able to work under pressure, as service calls must be responded to promptly, diagnosed quickly, and fixed within a short time frame
• Oversee and perform network hardware and software planning; research and evaluate new technologies for implementation; confer with users concerning system needs; test, analyze and provide recommendations concerning the purchasing and implementation of network hardware and software
• Prepare technical reports to management on the operational state of assigned systems including an overview of system utilization, scheduled maintenance for the period, equipment needs, upgrades or replacements
• Prepare and maintain various records and reports related to assigned activities
• Communicate and exchange information with staff, administrators, and outside agencies to resolve issues or concerns
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, other language abilities are a plus
• Excellent time management skills
• The ability to understand user problems and explain technical fixes in a clear and understandable manner to users
• Ability to quickly troubleshoot and conduct root cause analysis
• Must be able to occasionally move and lift heavy equipment
• Ability to work with cross functional teams and across multiple functions and disciplines

REQUIREMENTS

• Passion for taking care of customers
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and Office 365 Services
• Outstanding communication and follow-through
• Ability to resolve difficult technical issues in a timely manner with no supervision
• MCSE or Microsoft MCSA Cloud Platform (Preferred)
• Proven ability to manage time effectively to meet tight project deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Resident of the greater Dayton or Cincinnati area
