Summary/Objective 

The Senior Operations Associate is responsible for case management. Maintains excellent communication efforts with the client in order to obtain all proper documentation required for related visas and drafting of petitions.

Essential Functions

  1. Perform intakes of cases once assigned
  2. Analyzing and summarizing published works of candidates
  3. Maintain client contact information
  4. Provide status updates
  5. File documents in proper order
  6. Update case management system
  7. Learn procedural and processing requirements for various types of non-immigrant and immigrant visa petitions and applications
  8. Print and organize documents in a proper way
  9. Build knowledge of firm and client processes
  10. Draft petitions; writing detailed persuasive letters; and support the preparations of RFE documentation
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility

None.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work


This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Required Education and Experience

Relevant Bachelor’s degree  

3 years of relevant experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience in immigration or related field preferred

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Ability to write business correspondence and procedure manuals.
