We are seeking a skilled and motivated Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The Prep Cook plays a vital roll in making sure things run smoothly in our restaurant. If you have a passion for food, are creative with attention to detail, and love a fast paced environment, we would love to hear from you!


Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, such as chopping vegetables, cutting meat and measuring ingredients

Follow recipes and portion control guidelines

Assist with menu planning and contribute with creative ideas for new dishes

Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment

Follow food safety and sanitation standards

Collaborate with other staff and be a team player

Assist with inventory management and rotation of stock


Requirements:

Previous experience as a prep cook is preferred

Ability to follow a recipe accurately

Strong attention to detail and organized

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and holidays as needed.

Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures

Pay $13.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours 30-40 with flexibility on days and hours.
