DESCRIPTION

The Service Assistant is required to perform warehouse duties that are needed by the Service Manager in a timely fashion but also being accurate with their work, keeping a clean area, and following all of the rules/ guidelines.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare packing and assembling crates for departing parts as well as preparing to paint all outgoing repairs if needed
• Shipping and Receiving of material needed
• Required to communicate with companies about their freights in order to be accurate with how the setup when leaving the warehouse as well as picking them up
• Inspect for any damage(s) with the merchandise
• Must be able to stand on their feet for a long period of time
• Aware/conscious of all their senses
• Must be able to pass a Drug Test and Background Check
• Essential to work in an environment with partial lightening, exposure to dust, and loud noises

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma/ GED required
• 1+ year experience with mechanics, electrical, plumbing, and maintenance. 
• Valid Driver’s License
• Can operate a forklift (load and unloading freight), Forklift Certified
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English
• Intermediate – Advanced level with Microsoft Office
• Spray Gun Experience
• Crating/ Palletizing Experience
• Must be able to carry/lift material that are at the most 50 pounds
