Sidewalk Shoveling Crew Member – Seasonal Snow & Ice Management

We are looking for reliable, hard-working individuals to join our Sidewalk Snow & Ice Management Crews for the winter season. This is an on-call, weather-dependent position ideal for someone who wants extra income, enjoys physical outdoor work, and can respond during winter weather events.

Position Details 

Job Title: Sidewalk Shoveling Crew Member
Type: Seasonal / Part-Time / On-Call
Location: Louisville, KY and surrounding service areas
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Start Date: As early as November 1
Work Hours: Varies based on storm timing — early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays may be required

Responsibilities

• Clear sidewalks, walkways, entrances, and steps using shovels, push spreaders, power brooms, and Turf Tech equipment

• Apply ice melt safely and evenly

• Follow assigned routes and communicate with crew leaders

• Maintain a fast, efficient pace while working in winter conditions

• Report any hazards, issues, or incidents to management

• Ensure equipment and materials are properly used and returned after shift

  
  

Requirements 

• Must be dependable and able to respond quickly during snow or ice events

• Ability to work outdoors in freezing temperatures for several hours

• Ability to lift 40–50 lbs repeatedly

• Must have reliable transportation to job sites or meeting locations

• Able to work as part of a team and follow direction

• Prior snow experience is a plus but not required — training provided
