DESCRIPTION

Will be responsible for monthly closing including preparation of journal entries, importing of transactions from source systems and posting of ledgers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare general ledger account reconciliations

• Reconcile and analyze various general ledger accounts

• Prepare monthly and quarterly sales/use and medical tax returns

• Assists with annual audit by preparing financial information and supporting schedules.

• Maintain effective internal controls for all assigned responsibilities.

• Apply accounting policies and principles to properly record, report and maintain financial data.

• Calculate rebate/co-op payments

• Assists with special projects and analysis as requested.

   

  QUALIFICATION

• BS degree in Accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• CPA preferred or progress towards certification.

• 5-7 years of relevant professional experience in a manufacturing environment

• Knowledge of GAAP and application of accounting principles.

• Approach problems analytically.

• Work in a fast paced, collaborative and result driven environment.

• Proficient in MS Office applications, Excel, Power Point, and Dynamics AX experience a plus.
