Teacher in child care (floating postion)

Introduction:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced child care teacher to join our team and provide high-quality care and education to the children in our child care center. The Child Care Teacher will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for the children in your care planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, and communicating with parents about their child's development and progress. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and be able to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Create a nurturing and stimulating environment for infants, including providing emotional and physical support

• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development of infants

• Communicate with parents about their child's development and progress, including providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or questions

• Follow all policies and procedures related to the care and education of infants, including adhering to safety protocols and maintaining accurate records

• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure continuity of care and education

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a child care setting

• Early Childhood Education (ECE) degree, CDA  or relevant state certification

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload

• Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff

• Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities
