Test Equipment Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design & program a variety of electronic & electro-mechanical automotive components
• Integrate electronic components into working systems for automotive use
• Troubleshoot equipment to pinpoint malfunctions and improve quality of product and or services
• Must be capable and knowledgeable of test methods
• Extensive knowledge of software for data acquisitions and control applications with strong understanding of technical concepts and how to utilize for improvement
• Must be extremely knowledgeable of electrical components and circuitry and possess software development skills
• Understand technical concepts to the overall development of automated test devices
• Utilize great Team leadership and be team oriented
• Leader in developing equipment, deployment and maintenance
• Knowledgeable in OEM vehicle communication protocols
• Familiar with automotive product development environment

Requirements:

• ***** Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering A MUST *****
• Strong Engineering background
• Strong knowledge of test methods
• Experienced and knowledgeable in data collection and software implementation to improve product
• Automotive Electronics experience
•  Must know oem vehicle communication protocols (LIN, CAN, FLEXRAY)
• Solid Technical Background with product engineering experience
• Software development experience (VB.net, C#, C++, Labview)
• Candidate must have at least 3yrs EXPERIENCE

Compensation:

56K – 75K (DOE)
