About us: New England Treatment Access, Inc. (NETA) is one of Massachusetts’s first medical marijuana dispensary provisional license holders. Our mission is to support the health and well-being of registered qualifying Massachusetts medical marijuana patients. We are building a first class organization and have some of the most experienced professionals in the field. Our main cultivation site is located in Franklin, MA, and we have Dispensary locations in Northampton and Brookline, MA. Requirements:Experience: There are a vast number of experiences that may be valuable in this position! These may range from:
- plant trimming, greenhouses, nurseries, farms,
- assembly line work or intricate machinery work
- Jewelry making or assembly
- kitchen, line cooks, or hospitality,
- detailed carpentry, small parts or detailed finish work
- other labor related or assembly experience
Education: HS Diploma or equivalent. Additional degree related experience preferred, yet not required.
Responsibilities: Work closely with Harvest Supervisor to produce the highest quality trimmed buds;
Accurately weigh and recording trim weights; Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in order to improve and promote quality; Works in a timely manner and strives to increase productivity;Must be able to sit and/or stand and carefully trim buds for 6-8 hours of the day; All other job duties as assigned.
Physical capability: Indoor growing/clean room environment. Must have clear, verbal communications, stand and/or sit for prolonged periods of time, and requires consistent fine finger manipulation and close hand eye coordination throughout the day. Ability to handle stress in managing productivity and accuracy. Ability to lift 20lbs unassisted.
Skills: Must have the ability to focus and be task oriented. Ability to handle stress, work well with small hand tools. Ability to work as a team member, be organized and have extreme attention to detail.
