Equipment Operator

CMG Contracting is a Chesterland, OH based company specializing in concrete flatwork/ foundations, general excavation, and material hauling on residential and commercial projects.

We are looking for a Full Time Equipment Operator Position. This position will be necessary for someone to have the overall concrete and excavating skills to be able to be able to cover a broad spectrum of work. Pay and compensation will be based by experience level. Many rolls and tasks will overlap to complete the project most efficiently as a crew. This will include all scopes of general construction operating and laboring as needed.

Skills Necessary:

• Equipment operating to include: skid steers, excavators, wheel loaders, dump trucks, equipment transportation & mobilization, etc...
• Concrete/ excavating prep work experience which may include: setting grade, lay out, setting string lines, using rotary lasers, setting forms, installing aggregate base etc...
• Concrete finishing experience which may include: raking, screeding, edging/ hand tooling, bull floating, stamping concrete, saw cutting, sealing etc...

Overall CMG scope of work may consists of:

• Concrete flatwork (removal & replacement, new installation)
• Footers & Foundations
• Structural concrete
• General excavation
• Drainage
