The technician is responsible for the repair of products in the customer’s homes and businesses.

Products repaired  can be: Washers, Dryers, Dishwashers, Refrigerators, Freezers, Cook Stoves, Ovens, Microwave Ovens, Dishwashers, Trash Compactors, Garbage Disposals, Ice Makers, Ice Machines, Range Hoods, Range Tops, A/C window units, Water Filters, Espresso Machines, Barbecues, Wine Coolers, Wine Cabinets, and other home appliances.

Have the knowledge and confidence to work on any electric or gas appliance, and high end brands like Bosch, Dacor, Miele, Sub-Zero, Wolf, Viking, Liebherr, Ancona, Thermador, Scotsman, Lynx, Bertazzoni, GE, LG, Maytag, Whirlpool and any other brand that we can provide support with our Higher Logic proprietary software database, and our large franchise network. 

We want our technician to provide timely, quality repair and installation of customer’s products while maintaining top notch customer service.

We provide a service van, gas card, specialized tools, uniforms, tool bag, tool mat, doormat, shoe covers, iPad, periodic training, paid holidays, vacation, benefits, and a supportive/caring work environment.

Benefits and Compensation

Compensation will be based on experience, reliability, and skills.

• We pay a base hourly rate plus commission/bonus depending on qualifications and results. Typically $35,000 - $70,000 a year, plus additional incentives!!!
• We provide a company van, uniforms, IPad, GPS System, and most specialized tools needed. ‪
• Paid holidays Paid vacation after the first year
• Hiring bonus may be available to the right experienced techs.

 Duties and Responsibilities

• Accurately diagnosing and repairing appliances/equipment in the customer’s home and business
• The ability to give the customer an accurate estimate of the cost of repair or installation
• The ability to read, understand and navigate through information presented in schematics, diagrams, blueprints, product manuals, troubleshooting guides, or other pictorial displays on an iPad
• The ability to use an iPad for service; parts inquiries and ordering; prepare price quotes and complete service calls for repair work, and collect payment.
• The knowledge of basic electrical principles
• The knowledge to work on gas appliances

 Working Conditions

• The ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis, and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis without assistance and the physical ability to perform strenuous work under varied circumstances.  
• The ability to work regular customer service hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM (Overtime opportunities could be available if mutually agreed).

 Education and Experience

• Technical School Training preferred but not mandatory  
• Major Appliance Technician Training and Certification desired
• Minimum of 2 years professional work experience as an appliance repair technician (5 years minimum preferred)
• High School Degree or GED required. (Some higher level education preferred)

 Certificates, Licenses and Registrations

• HVAC & EPA Certification REQUIRED 
• Refrigeration License, Sealed System Certified
• Certified Appliance Professional (CAP) desired but not required
• Gas License desired but not required

 Experience and Attributes

• Pleasant, polite manner for dealing with co-workers as wells as customers
• Ability to work both independently and as a team member
• Must have a great attitude and be professional
• Must be dependable, responsible, ambitious, flexible, positive, and a hard worker
• Looking for a technician that will grow into a leadership position
• ‪Must be able to pass and maintain background criminal, drug screenings and security checks
• Must have and maintain a Valid Florida Driver’s License and insurable Motor Vehicle Record
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Authorized to work in the US for any employer
