Lab Tech for Food Manufacturing

Position: R&D Product Tech/Lab Tech

Location: Paramount, CA

Shift: 1st

Full Time| Weekly Pay

Seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Research & Development Product Tech! In this role, you'll lead new product development from concept to production, working closely with QA, procurement, production, and marketing to ensure quality and business alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop new products and refine formulas.
• Research and incorporate new flavors, ingredients, and processes.
• Create and update product specifications and processing procedures.
• Optimize production processes with operations teams.
• Ensure food safety and conduct shelf-life testing.
• Stay updated on market trends and technologies.
• Source raw materials and manage supplier selection.
• Coordinate product launches and trials.
• Maintain lab inventory and support additional projects.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of Research and Development experience
• Must be able to communicate in English
• Basic computer skills
• Experience in food product development, quality control, or lab testing.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations (HACCP, FDA, USDA).
• Ability to formulate, test, and analyze food products.
• Understanding of processing techniques, packaging, and ingredient functionality.

Shift is Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Pay is $19-$21 DOE 

We participate in E-Verify.  Must pass drug/background checks.
