Automotive Mechanic

Introduction:

We are seeking an experienced automotive mechanic to join our team. The automotive mechanic will be responsible for inspecting and diagnosing vehicles, removing and replacing parts, and writing up service reports. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect and diagnose vehicles using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
  
• Write up detailed service reports
  
• Execute repairs in an efficient and organized manner for authorized service reports
  
• Work with lead mechanic and front office to ensure operations run efficiently 
  
• Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical inclined individuals
  
• Organize service equipment and tools, workspace, and inventory
  
• Greet and assist visitors and clients
  

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an automotive mechanic (minmum of 5 years) or in a similar role is preferred
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  
• Proficiency with computer systems and software, such as Mitchell and Autel
  
• Excellent organization and time management skills
  
• Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload
