Medical Device Sewer and Assembler

• In this role, the Medical Device Technician/Operator will be an integral member of a very small team bringing biological tissue products to market.
• Prepare solutions, process tissue, perform lab maintenance, and prepare samples.
• Build prototypes and provide technical support to customers and other team members.
• Under minimal supervision, follow written documents and ensures all tasks are on schedule. Follows appropriate policies, procedures, protocols and completes necessary documentation, as guided.
• Special emphasis on sewing skills and following a detailed Manufacturing Process including sewing fabric & tissue.
• Perform all production related activities including preparing solutions, cleaning and treating biological tissue, assembling final product, and packaging.
• Ability to handle chemicals, prepare solutions and develop procedures for product is essential.

Previous experience in operations in a medical device environment:

• Experience handling, preparing, and sewing biological tissue or vascular, heart and heart valve related products desired.
• Previous exposure to new development projects, and lab work.
• Must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including for example, verification of past employment, criminal history and educational background.
• Willing to take a drug test
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas for this job.
• Must be willing to work in Plymouth, MN.
