Build something from the ground up.
Revolution Auto Parts is opening a new cross-dock in Wilmington, and we need a hands-on leader to launch it. You'll set up the site, hire and lead the team, and build the systems that keep parts moving. If you like the idea of making something work where nothing exists yet, this role is for you.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Launch the location: Set up the office and yard, open vendor accounts, and build simple processes for receiving, dispatch, and paperwork. Early on, you'll pitch in wherever needed, from answering phones to loading a truck.
• Run logistics: Plan daily routes, dispatch drivers, and adjust for weather, breakdowns, and last-minute requests. Track on-time performance, mileage, and fuel costs.
• Keep the fleet moving: Manage preventive maintenance for trucks, trailers, and yard equipment. Keep inspections, registrations, and DOT records current.
• Own quality: Inspect and grade parts from brokers, accept or reject them against company standards, and fix the root cause of returns and errors.
• Manage the paperwork: Process purchase orders and match them to manifests, bills of lading, and invoices. Keep inventory and title records accurate and compliant with NC law.
• Lead the team: Hire, train, and coach drivers and yard staff. Set clear expectations and build a culture that is safe, reliable, and customer focused.
• Grow local relationships: Build strong connections with customers and brokers in the Wilmington area.
