Central Florida Rheumatology is a patient-centered practice dedicated to diagnosing and treating connective tissue and autoimmune conditions—including rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, gout, vasculitis, and psoriatic arthritis, with a compassionate and efficient approach

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of rheumatologic conditions—arthritis, lupus, gout, osteoporosis, vasculitis, and connective tissue diseases.
  • Conduct detailed patient assessments: review medical histories, perform comprehensive physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., labs, imaging).
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including pharmacotherapy (DMARDs, biologics), infusion therapy, lifestyle guidance, and referrals when appropriate.
  • Perform procedures such as joint injections and guided imaging as needed.
  • Educate patients and families about disease processes, treatment options, medication usage, and self-management strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date electronic medical records (EMRs).
  • Collaborate efficiently with NPs, PAs, medical staff, and administrative personnel to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Stay current with advances in rheumatology through continuing education, conferences, and professional development.

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO degree, completed an accredited Rheumatology Fellowship.
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Rheumatology.
  • Active Florida medical license or eligibility.
  • Exceptional clinical judgment and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with EMR systems and practice management software.
  • A commitment to compassionate, team-based patient care.
  • Bi-lingual (English, Spanish) preferred
