Cosmetologist

We are looking for full-time and/or part-time Cosmetologists to join our friendly, energetic team and an ever-growing team at Anthony John's Day Spa, Salon & Boutique in Bangor, Maine. We are the largest day spa in the Bangor area with over 30 employees across multiple departments and professions. We offer hourly rate plus commission, continuing education, flexible scheduling, in-house discounts on services and product, client service members to manage scheduling and appointments, advertising through popular business social media accounts and events, and BENEFITS!

Primary Responsibilities:

• Greet and communicate with guests & members in a professional, friendly manner
• Perform hair and nail services on clients in a fast-paced but relaxing environment. (A cosmetologist with a full hair clientele will not be required to work in the nail salon - can be discussed at interview and decided by management).
• Create excellent experiences for members and guests through a friendly and helpful attitude
• Help maintain professionalism and cleanliness of the nail room, hair salon, and common areas
• Client-oriented and able to communicate effectively with clients and co-workers

Position Requirements:

• Must adhere to local and Maine state licensing laws and regulations
• Previous experience a plus but not required. We will train the right person right out of school, or with little experience.
