Privacy Notice
Last Updated: February 5, 2025
At GetHired, a Global Payments company, we value the privacy of the users, employers, job
seekers, employees, and others (collectively or individually, “you” or “Users”) who visit and
use our website, online platforms, and mobile and other auxiliary applications (collectively the
“Services”). For the purposes of this Privacy Notice, “GetHired,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to
GetHired, Inc. This Privacy Notice describes the types of Personal Information we collect and
process about our Users, the rights and choices our Users may have with respect to Personal
Information about them, and how our Users may contact us about our privacy practices.
Our privacy practices, and our role with respect to Personal Information about you, vary
depending on the nature of our relationship with you.
Customers: Our customers are U.S. and Canadian employers (“Customers”), and we
provide software services to support our Customers in hiring and onboarding, tax
credits, time and attendance, and benefits administration. Often, depending on the
nature of the services a Customer is purchasing, we make additional disclosures to our
Customers regarding our processing of their Personal Information at or before
onboarding. This Privacy Notice should be viewed as a supplement to any additional
disclosures provided to you during your onboarding as a Customer.
Customer Employees and Job Seekers: While we have a direct relationship with our
Customers, our relationship with those Customers’ employees and job seekers is more
indirect. We process Personal Information relating to those employees and job seekers on
behalf of our Customers. Under applicable privacy laws, GetHired would be considered
a processor or service provider for employee or job seeker Personal Information.
Given the different contexts in which we collect, use, and disclose Personal Information, in
various sections of this Privacy Notice, we address the following categories of processing
activities separately: (1) our processing of Personal Information relating to Website Visitors Who
Are Not Accountholders, which includes Users who visit any of the Services but do not have an
associated account; (2) our processing of Personal Information related to Users of our Job
Application Platforms, which includes Users who have an account on a job application
platform; and (3) our processing of Personal Information related to Users of our
Post-Application Employment-Related Platforms, which includes Users who have an account
for post-hiring related platforms related to onboarding, tax credits, time and attendance, and
benefits administration.
GetHired maintains specific privacy notices for its own job applicants, employees, and
contractors through Global Payments. If you are a job applicant, employee, or contractor of
GetHired and need a copy of the applicable privacy notice, please contact us at
privacy@globalpay.com.
Please read this Privacy Notice carefully. By registering for, accessing, browsing, or using the
Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the practices described
in this Privacy Notice. This Privacy Notice is incorporated into and is subject to the GetHired
Terms of Service. Your use of the Services and any Personal Information provided or collected
through the Services are subject at all times to this Privacy Notice and the Terms of Service. If
you have any questions, you may contact us at privacy@globalpay.com or by the methods
provided in theHow to Contact Us” section below.

The Services may allow you to participate in certain programs designed to highlight you as a
featured job seeker and/or your Profile (as that term is defined in the Terms of Service) as a
featured Profile. If you choose to participate in any such program, GetHired may publish
and/or distribute your Profile or any Personal Information in your Profile to other Users as part
of such program. However, you retain the ability to withdraw your participation from any such
program at any time.
When you create or post a resume to the Services or submit a resume through the Services in
response to a Job Posting, that resume is stored in our searchable resume database in the United
States. You may control the status of your resume by setting it to private or public, as further
described below.
Private. If you set your resume as private, it is not searchable by potential employers or others
with access to our resume database. You may still use your resume to apply online to a Job
Posting. If you do apply online to a Job Posting, your resume will be transferred to the relevant
employer, who may retain a copy of your resume or distribute it to third parties. We cannot
control their use or retention of your resume information.
Public. If you allow your resume to be searchable without making it private, then all Users
with access to our searchable resume database (or copies thereof) will have access to your
resume. If you want your contact information to be confidential, your resume will be searchable
by potential employers, but we will hide your contact information. You must also remove your
contact information from any resume you post to the Services. If you use a confidential resume
to apply to a job online, the employer to whom you send your resume will be able to view your
contact information in order to contact you about your application.
Employers or other Users with access to our searchable resume database may be located in
countries whose data protection legislation may not be equivalent to the laws in your country of
residence. By making your resume searchable, you are expressly consenting to such access.
We cannot control the use of resumes by third parties who access such resumes (or make copies
thereof) while they are in our searchable database.

5. Our Relationship with Affiliate Companies
Subject to your consent if required by applicable law, we may appoint an affiliate company to
process Personal Information in a service provider role. In most cases, we will remain
responsible for that company’s processing of Personal Information pursuant to applicable data
privacy laws. Because our affiliate companies are located around the globe, Personal
Information may be transferred to and stored in the United States or in another country outside
of the country in which you reside, which may be subject to different standards of data
protection than your country of residence. We take appropriate steps to transfer personal
information in accordance with applicable law, such as transferring Personal Information to
countries that are recognized as providing an adequate level of legal protection or where
alternative adequate arrangements are in place to protect your privacy rights.
6. Social Features
Certain features of the Services permit you to initiate interactions between the Services and
third-party services or platforms, such as social networks (“Social Features”). Social Features
include features that allow you to click and access GetHired’s pages on certain third-party
platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn as applicable, and from there to “like” or
“share” our content on those platforms. Use of Social Features may entail a third party’s
collection and/or use of your data. If you use Social Features or similar third-party services,
information you post or otherwise make accessible may be publicly displayed by the third-party
service you are using. Both GetHired and the third party may have access to information about
you and your use of both the Services and the third-party service.
7. Data Anonymization and Aggregation
Subject to your consent if required by law, we may anonymize or aggregate your Personal
Information so that you are not identified or identifiable from it, in order to use the anonymized
or aggregated data, for example, for statistical analysis and administration including analysis of
trends, to carry out actuarial work, to tailor products and services and to conduct risk
assessments and analysis of costs and charges in relation to our products and Services. We may
disclose anonymized or aggregated data to our global affiliates and with other third parties.
This Privacy Notice does not restrict GetHired’s use or disclosure of any anonymized or
aggregated information. Where we maintain or use de-identified information, we will continue
to maintain and use the de-identified information only in a de-identified fashion and will not
attempt to re-identify the information.
8. Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and other similar tracking technologies to help us gather information about your
use of our Services. Cookies can also help us to operate our Services more efficiently, remember
you for future visits, and enhance your user experience by providing real-time tools, including
user guides and chat-bots. We also gather statistical information about the use of our Services in
order to continually improve their design and functionality, understand how they are used, and
assist us with resolving questions regarding them. The cookies and tracking technologies that
we may use on the Services fall into the following categories:
Strictly Necessary. These cookies are necessary for the website to function and cannot be
switched off in our systems. They are usually only set in response to actions taken by you such
as logging in or filling in forms. You can set your browser to block or alert you about these
cookies, but blocking them may impede the functionality of the Services.
Performance. These cookies allow us to count visits and traffic sources so we can measure and
improve the performance of our Services. They help us to know which pages are the most and
least popular and to see how visitors move around the Services. All information these cookies
collect is aggregated. If you do not allow these cookies we will not know when you have visited
our Services, and we will not be able to monitor their performance.
Functionality. These cookies enable the Services to provide enhanced functionality and
personalization. They may be set by us or by third-party providers whose services we have
added to our pages. If you do not allow these cookies, then some of these Services may not
function properly.
Targeting. These cookies may be set through our Services by our advertising partners. They may
be used by those companies to build a profile of your interests and show you relevant
advertisements on other sites. They are based on uniquely identifying your browser and
internet device. If you do not allow these cookies, you will experience less targeted advertising.
How to Delete or Block Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies
