Full time and Part time teachers-Montlake and West Seattle

We are seeking early childhood professional teachers for our preschool and before-and -after-school centers. Applicants must be willing to work as a team member on a part-time or full-time basis to create a stimulating curriculum that is anti-bias, multicultural, and age appropriate. Furthermore, applicants must practice positive discipline, teach each student to value the learning process more than the product, and be willing to assist with implementing developmentally appropriate practices. Applicants must be flexible with scheduling,respond appropriately to multiple and unexpected situations, be willing to work in any classroom, be organized, and be willing to build good communications with families. Applicants should be able to maintain physical and mental alertness and an approprate level of energy.

Minimum Requirements: 
-At least 18 years of age
-Two years experience working with children
-A degree in early childhood education or CDA(Preferred)
-Current CPR, First Aid, and Blood Borne Pathogens certifications
-STARS Training (initial 20 hours or education exemption)
-Current TB test (passed within the last twelve months)
-Food Handlers Permit
-A commitment to continued professional growth
-Willing to go on field trips using public transit
-Experience with Multiple Intelligences (preferred)
