Job Summary

  • Performs non-invasive patient tasks including but not limited to routine patient care, support service, in-and out-patient care.
  •  Must have a valid Washington State Nursing License, CPR, TB, Picture ID, SS Card, Immunizations.  Must have one or more of the following: hospital, LTC, Homecare/Hospice experience, Corrections.

Job Summary

General Accountabilities

  • Performs routine tasks under direct supervision of head nurse or medical staff.
  • Answers patients’ calls, delivers messages, serves meals, makes beds, assists patients with eating, dressing, bathing, etc.
  • May perform other routine tasks including taking temperature, pulse, respiration rate, blood pressure, etc.
  • Escorts patients into and out of examine and waiting rooms.
  • Reports any physical, emotional or mental changes to appropriate medical staff.
  • Checks-in patients and documents appropriate information including medical history.
  • Maintains medicinal supplies.
  • Practices safety and health standards.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned.

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum Education: High School or GED
  • Minimum Experience: 1 year of Supervised experience within the last 3 years.
