Role:
An individual in this position can fulfill all Tier I responsibilities; In addition, this position will field ACH/Share Draft exceptions and daily financial records. They will also be introduced to GL verifications, subsidiaries and reclamations.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

35% Process ACH and Share Draft exceptions, post account adjustments, returns and reconcile associated general ledgers.

20% Record daily financial transactions from corporate account to general ledgers and cross check totals to ensure entries are posted and dated accurately.

15% Perform daily bookkeeping and verification by comparing branch transaction records with system records to ensure accuracy and completeness of transactions. Report discrepancies to supervisor or branch as appropriate.

10% Create and maintain subsidiaries, ensuring complete documentation and proper classification.

10% Respond to all inquiries promptly, professionally and accurately to achieve one call resolution standards

5% Receive and review incoming reclamation requests to determine validity and availability of funds. Response to request as appropriate.

5% Performs other job related duties as assigned.
Performance Measurements:
1.
Contribute to a cohesive, highly trained, motivated team sufficient to meet daily department demands.
2.
Process entries and transactions with a high level of accuracy, within error tolerances.
3.
Maintain member account security and accuracy, following all applicable Federal, State and Credit Union regulations, policies, and procedures, including updating records and processing requests with minimal error.
4.
Troubleshoot and resolve member and internal inquires accurately and promptly to accomplish first-contact resolution standards.
5.
Respond promptly to all internal and external communications, including but not limited to, email, messages, and other correspondence.
6.
Prompt review of relevant reports; ensuring accuracy and clarity in data, representation, and presentation.
7.
Suggest enhancements to the processes and procedures of the department to achieve greater efficiency; Regularly report to leadership regarding departmental needs and key operational issues.
8.
Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of Credit Union products, services, and procedures.
9.
Lead by example, ensure compliance with all applicable Credit Union policies, procedures, regulations; including but not limited to, upholding integrity and transparency, maintaining a reliable record of attendance and timeliness, and keeping a professional work environment and businesslike appearance.
