Grille
Prep Cook (3rd Man)
We expect all employees to perform job responsibilities to their best ability while maintaining a positive attitude.
Adhere to DHEC and Tropical Grille rules/regulations
Practice safe cooling process (see cooling procedure)
Practice safe cooking and reheating temperatures
Prep cook
Adhere to Tropical Grille Recipes
Cook food to order
Assist putting away truck orders
Communicating with management if help is needed
Ensure proper rotation of food, FIFO
Ensure all food items are properly labeled.
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen
Including but not limited to cleaning fryer, hoods, flat top, kitchen floors, walls, and behind equipment.
Keeping station clean throughout shift.
Leaving station clean for shift change.
Maintain food quality, consistency, and freshness
Controlling back ups of prepped food items in warmer
Prepare caterings
Use catering measurements given
Prep beans, sauteed items, pork, and assist with other hot items day of catering
Prep cold items day before catering
Responsibilities are not limited to direct job description, we expect all team members to perform any additional tasks asked of them by management
Maintain positive attitude
Respect team members
Willingness to assist team members when needed
Experience:
Restaurant Kitchen: 1 year (Preferred)
Customer Service/Cashier: 1 year (Preferred)
Education:
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Location:
