Field Sampler

Garden State Laboratories, Inc. is a water, food and environmental testing laboratory that has been in business for 75 year. We are seeking competent Field Samplers to collect samples to be brought to the lab for analysis. Full time position - typical week is M-F 8:30-5.

Responsibilities include:

• Collection and delivery of samples (wastewater, drinking water, etc.) From clients to the laboratory
• Loading coolers and supplies into sampling vehicle and unloading full coolers (up to 60 pounds and occasionally more) at the laboratory.

Please note, the collection of samples will involve work in an outdoor environment year round, standing, squatting, and overtime during periods of high volume.

• Able to follow both oral and written instructions
• Good organization, documentation and record-keeping skills

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Driver's license and a safe driving record
• Ability to work in both hot/cold outdoor environments
• Ability to lift up 60 pounds and maybe more on rare occasions
• Ability to work occasional weekends
