Ninja trainer
Our Ninja program is growing rapidly, and we need a part-time manager to help us get it to the next level!
What is 3 Element Ninja?
Based on popular TV shows like “American Ninja Warriorâ€, we create obstacle courses for kids ages 5-18 to complete in a supporting, fun environment. The course might involve jumping, balance, swinging, climbing, or basic gymnastics tricks using both our Ninja rig as well as our large gym floor. We change the course every session and tailor it to the competence level of the class.
Our 3 Elements:
Fun: 3E Ninjas have fun every time they participate in a class. We encourage and cheer for each other, and celebrate both success and effort.
Growth: Our ninjas improve their strength and discipline, both physically and mentally. We have the self-confidence to set goals and to track our progress vs. those goals.
Respect: We show our ninjas respect by operating our classes in a physically safe manner. We encourage participants to step out of their comfort zone, and guard both their bodies and their spirits as they stretch to reach challenging goals.
What does the Ninja Manager do?
The manager we are hiring will run the class, including giving job direction to our 3E Ninja coaches. Responsibilities include:
- Creating the environment for the class, based on Fun, Growth, and Respect. We cannot emphasize enough how important the atmosphere you create in the gym will lead to success in this position.
- Designing the course and work plan for the class.
- Setting up the course, and putting it away at the end of the day
- Monitoring the class, including safety and attendance
- Instructing and helping individuals when they need direction/assistance on completing an obstacle
- Training our coaches on the day’s plan, specific obstacles, safety, and most importantly, how to create an encouraging, motivating environment.
Who should apply / Training:
We will train you on all the tricks and stations available in 3E Ninja. We believe most people with a reasonable degree of fitness will be able to handle the physical aspects of this job. A background in physical training would be an excellent fit, as would candidates with an above average amount of athleticism.
If you think you have the leadership skills and energy to create the culture we want in each of classes, we’d love to meet you
