This position is responsible and accountable for the administration and supervision as well as preparedness and conduction of both physical and written facility audits that are conducted by USDC/NMFS, GMP+, IFFO-RS, EU, China, and customer audits.


  • Responsible for meeting all regulatory compliance obligations as required by regulators.
  • Update and maintain flow diagram of the process and understand key points of the process as they apply to audit and controls,
  • Update any new items requested by auditors, and work with appropriate departments to implement tracking and gathering of new data requirements,
  • Using the approved organisation chart from the corporate office, adjust it to address just the activities relating to production, sales, shipping, and quality,
  • Weekly physical inspection of facility for Sanitation/Housekeeping reporting,
  • Maintain Plant Control Document,
  • Oversee and maintain the food safety and quality assurance programs in accordance with FSMA/HARPC,
  • Work closely with Quality Lab to maintain analytical files that are needed during audits,
  • Keep update filing and list of all Daybrook certification required,
  • Act as lead on audits with outside regulators and customers,
  • Represent the company for all audit reviews and report findings directly to HSE Manager,
  • Prepare reports and maintain records for audit compliance,
  • Point of contact at Empire facility for auditors to schedule audits as well as inviting appropriate staff to attend,
  • Prepare materials as requested and specified by auditors,
  • Traceability and Product Recall Exercise,
