Key Holder/Assistant Manager

Plato's Closet Bellevue has immediate openings for experienced Key Holder/ Assistant Manager.

We are looking for highly motivated individuals who will enjoy taking responsibility for her/his own success and also the store's overall success. Are you a self-manager who has a passion for young women's and men's fashion retail, a passion, and knowledge for current young adult fashion who want to have a say in all that we do? Do you work in the mall and are you tired of sporadic shifts, being put into a box, not having a real voice? Do you want to be a buyer and be a contributor to our success? If so we want to talk with you!

Our Managers are expected to wear five core 'Hats' - Salesperson, Sales Manager, Operations Manager, Training Manager, and Buyer.

Duties Include but not limited to:

• Selling for 15 - 20 hours per week.
• As a Manager, responsible for driving sales and profits up.
• Training part-time staff and ensuring staff advancement through company job progression.
• Conducting/participating in regular store meetings.
• In-Store visual merchandising.
• In-store marketing including promotions, events, and customer loyalty programs.
• Must be able to oversee/work with a staff of 10+ employees with ease and professionalism.
• Oversee all aspects of gently used inventory purchasing including merchandise selection and pricing by working directly with the Store Manager.
• Daily Audits of previous days business to update metrics and be aware of any loss prevention issues.

Additional Manager Responsibilities:

• Work up to a 35 hour a week schedule that includes weekend and evening shifts.
• Daily Maintenance Checklist completed.
• Area of Responsibilities completed.
• Monthly Store Reports completed and turned in to Store Manager.
• Must be comfortable climbing ladders, be able to stand, walk, bend, lift & move bins up to 30lbs on a repetitive basis. 
• Must be able to take your responsibilities seriously but not yourself.
• Commitment to the company and our guests trumps experience and even some skills.
