Position Summary:

The employee performs most work assigned with minimum assistance. Integral role in onboarding new tax clients, and supporting role in collecting, paying, and filing payroll taxes, all while providing a high level of customer service.

Essential Functions:

  • Implements new tax clients

  • Verifies new clients’ prior tax data

  • Prepares correspondence to client for approval of tax payments and quarterly reconciliation collections

  • Responsible for tax activities, including compliance with local, state, and federal regulations

  • Assists with special projects as needed (end of year reconciliation)

  • Meets time constraints and client or agency deadline
  • Tracks daily work load via Salesforce
  • Answers incoming calls for clients, agencies, and internal team members
  • Other duties as assigned

 Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or minimum of 2 years payroll or accounting experience

  • MS Office experience

Preferences:

Payroll and payroll tax knowledge

MasterTax experience

Fundamentals of Payroll Certification (FPC)
