JOB SUMMARY: Responsible
include but not limited to review of completed loan packages before shipping to
Investor and preparing form closing.
Interface with loan operating systems on Conventional, FHA and VA loans.
- Review project data and loan
application information for accuracy, completeness and in line with
- Monitor and order documents
such as credit reports, verifications (deposit, employment, rent or
mortgage) appraisals, final inspections, title work, mortgage insurance,
loan reports and flood determinations.
- Maintain knowledge of Calyx,
Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac updates along with various investor websites;
- Serve as liaison between
underwriter, loan officer, Title Company, Borrower and closing
- Maintain an open line of
communications with loan officers.
- Responsible for loan officers
- Review assembled credit
package for submission to underwriter
- Review conditions, approve or
- Meet with loan officer and
review progress of pending transactions.
- Help with post closing on
- Responsible for answering
telephones and ordering supplies
- Provides support to other
areas of the department as assigned
- Promotes business for the Bank
by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to
appropriate staff for new services
- Prepare closing packages when
- Assisting with other functions
and special projects

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Previous mortgage lending experience; (I = 2 years, II = 5 years, III= 7+
years processor or higher experience)
Extensive knowledge of mortgage loan documentation;
- High School Diploma or
equivalent experience with additional training in a business environment;
- A thorough understanding of
mortgage lending from origination through loan closing is required;
- Strong knowledge of
conventional and government loan guidelines;
- Working knowledge of Laser Pro
preferred by not necessary;
- Proficient in Microsoft Word,
Microsoft Excel and Database Applications;
- Working knowledge of real
estate regulations as it relates to the lending function;
- Ability to work effectively in
- Ability to work independently;
- Strong organizational skills;
- A positive customer service
Physical Demands- While performing
the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit;
use of hands and fingers to feel or handle equipment and files; reach with
hands and arms and talk and hear. The
employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch
or crawl. The employee must regularly
lift and/or move up to 2.5 pounds. The

Work Environment- The work
environment of a Mortgage Loan Processor is in a cubicle setting with access
available to lenders. The general area
is fair to medium noise level. All areas
are air conditioned or heated.
