Claims Administrative Assistant

Busy Oak Ridge Insurance Office is in search of a Claims Administrative Assistant.

Roles and responsibilities include clerical support, scanning incoming mail, answering and directing incoming claim phone calls, and paying vendor bills after approval of claims adjuster. Must work well with peers to manage inventory of assignments, assuring work is handled in appropriate time-frames.

Requirements include experience in insurance or healthcare claim administration roles, or clerical support roles in financial management entities. Must demonstrate past applications of quality improvement activities and ability to adapt.

Some college preferred. Demonstrated industry knowledge or ability to demonstrate how work experiences support needed skills

Phone, financial accuracy, general PC and internet knowledge, and general understanding of claims or insurance required.
