Description:
Paragon Residential Management manages several multifamily apartment communities throughout Upstate New York. We seek a full-time hourly Leasing Consultant with strong customer service skills to assist the Property Manager with marketing, paperwork, and lease-up of one of our newest communities (under construction) in Saratoga County, New York. Will train the right candidate!
JOB DUTIES
- Greet new applicants with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
- Ask appropriate questions of prospective applicants in an effort to meet their needs; show apartments while showcasing the property and amenities
- Process applications and evaluate applicant's credit and eligibility to lease an apartment
- Assist the marketing coordinator with the development and implementation of various marketing initiatives
- Rent Collection
- Oversee and follow up with work orders in conjunction with the maintenance supervisor
- Apartment turnover oversight
- Prepare and Conduct lease signings / renewals
- Coordinate and conduct open houses
- Conduct apartment inspections
- Prepare weekly market surveys and leasing reports
- Maintain office files
- Work with and coordinate with third party vendors
- General administrative duties: phone calls, photocopying etc.
- Other special projects that might arise
- Some travel within Capital District may be required
- Comply with all state, local, and federal fair housing laws
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be extremely organized with extraordinary attention to detail
- Ability to handle a high stress environment with a calm demeanor while able to prioritize / oversee urgent matters as they arise
- “People pleaser” who gets along well with others
- Excellent time-management skills
- Excellent computer and technology related skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly motivated and energetic
- 40 hours per week; minimum of one weekend day required each week
