Job Description
Network Engineer needed for the operation of large Wide Area and Local Area IP Networks, which are being built on a Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) and BGP.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, is required no exceptions. CCNA required must provide registration number on resume and state current or expired, CCIE preferred. Candidate must be able to come in for an in person interview if requested by the hiring manager, no exceptions.
Minimum 5 years of experience in data networking and telecommunications, including expert knowledge of TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, and working “hands on” knowledge of routing and Ethernet switching. MPLS Layer 2 and Layer 3 hands-on experience required; LTE preferred
Minimum 5 years hands-on experience configuring routers, switches and related network equipment including; Cisco 6500 and 3945 routers, Cisco Nexus 7710, ARS 9000, Cisco CRS/XR. Juniper MX-480, MX-960. F5 Load balancer.
Solid understanding of Networking specific technologies: IPV6, L2VPN, L3VPN, OSPFv3, MPBGP, QOS/Traffic Engineering, MPLS (LDP & TDP), and VRFs
Minimum 5 years of experience in IP addressing and sub-netting, Ethernet VLANs, PPP, Frame Relay, PNNI, CSU/DSUs, CAT5 cabling,
Use of NCM and ISC or other automated configuration tool a plus
Extensive experience writing Method Of Procedures (MOPs)
E-health or Sev-One network performance knowledge
Firewall experience helpful, including Juniper SRX
Juniper O/S
Strong analytical skills
Strong ability to multi-task and handle multiple, high priority, high visibility projects concurrently
