Description

One of the largest Milling Company is looking for Director of Milling Operations who will be responsible for overall direction, guidance and management of mill and personnel.

Responsibilities

•  Responsible for setting and executing the strategic and tactical plans as established with the VP of Operations.
• Ensure that the flour milling division meets and/or exceed goals in all key performance areas of Cost, Quality, Sanitation, System Performance, Customer Service & EHS.
•  Lead, motivate and direct managers, supervisors and hourly employees to achieve outstanding manufacturing performance results while leveraging Continuous Improvement tools, improving individual skill sets, and enhancing teamwork.
• Planning, development, execution, and management of various capital projects across all flour mill locations, both large and small in scope and cost
•  Successfully collaborate and effectively motivate and influence, plant personnel, including plant managers and supervisors, to ensure operational excellence is achieved in all key metrics
• Quality, and Safety Statements as guiding principles in the decision-making process.
• Direct and coordinates operations in accordance with established company policies and procedures.

Qualification

• BS degree in flour milling or related food manufacturing field  
• Minimum 10 years of progressive plant management experience in flour milling or food manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and comprehend simple and complex instructions, short correspondence, memos, procedures, plans, spreadsheets, financial information and reports, technical documents including flowsheets, P&ID’s, equipment specifications and layouts, and other technical drawings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
