HR Manager

Appalachian Underwriters, Inc, is a national wholesale insurance brokerage outlet, based in Oak Ridge, TN.  AUI is seeking an experienced HR Manager for its organization of approximately 500 employees located in TN, SC, GA, FL, MO, TX, and CA.  The position will be at our corporate offices located in Oak Ridge, TN.

Duties and responsibilities of the HR Manager:

• Employee relations/development
• Recruiting/staffing
• Performance Management
• Compensation planning
• Training and development

Requirements of the HR Manager:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources
• Previous experience in the insurance industry preferred but not required
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong time management and multi-tasking skills
• Must be a team player
