Machine Shop Supervisor/Mold Maker

Manufacturing Company in the Livingston, NJ area is seeking a machine shop supervisor/mold maker.  This is a full time direct hire position with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities Include:

• Oversee completion of all mold repair and maintenance projects
• Establish and maintain staffing needs
• Create and monitor department budgets
• Read blueprints and have a familiarity with CAD software
• Knowledge of quality inspection tools 
• Implement Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles

Qualifications

• Associates degree in engineering, technical, or management degree with 10 years of experience in mold making and supervisory experience.
• Experience with high volume manufacturing
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Problem solving and analytical skills
