DESCRIPTION:
The Process Engineer will focus on staff safety, process equipment, and cost control. This qualified candidate will work with the Recovery department, mill support groups, and provide equipment maintenance efforts.
REQUIREMENTS:
- *BS in Engineering
- Experience with Chemical Recovery
- 3 years’ Continuous Manufacturing Process
- Strong Interpersonal skills, multi-tasking skills, self-directed
- Able to interact with Operators and Supervisors
- Computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Mental and Physical demands
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Respond to recovery audits.
- Maintenance of work systems: operating procedures, training manuals, review panels, operator training, troubleshooting guides, root cause analysis.
- Compliance with mill safety and environmental requirements.
- Planning and implementation of process improvements.
- Planning and executing equipment outage reports.
- Provide input for development.
- Monthly department operations reports.
- Day-to-day process monitoring.
- Assistance with special projects.
- Periodic weekend duty coverage.
