Quality Assurance Manager

SUMMARY:

Manages all functions within the Quality Department and manage overall quality activities including TS16949 and supervise launch activities via Launch manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Supervise Quality Engineers in the daily quality activities.

· Manage & oversee scheduled MRB meeting, including NCR closure.

· Manage overall operation of Quality lab/office via Quality Supervisor.

· Support customer requirements as they pertain to quality.

· Oversee Launch Manager via quotes and engineering support to new job opportunities and manage incoming projects as they are awarded.

· Function as part of a continuous improvement team to improve the quality metrics and profit metrics of the organization.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

· Bachelor Degree in Business and or five years’ experience in Quality and Engineering activities in a plastic molding facility.

· Tier One Automotive Quality in a TS16949 Quality environment.

· Must have strong Excel skills.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

· Quality in plastic molding facility.: 5 years

REQUIRED DEGREE:

· Bachelor's Degree
