Senior Environmental Geologist or Engineer

The Senior Environmental Geologist or Engineer will assume responsibility for marketing and technical performance and management of activities associated with Ninyo & Moore's local subsurface assessment and remediation practice. The successful candidate will have experience with projects in areas including, but not limited to: hydrogeologic assessments and site characterization studies; hazardous waste remediation; feasibility studies and remediation system design; and groundwater sampling and pollutant evaluation. Responsibilities will include, serving as a practice leader for subsurface assessment and remediation projects and being responsible for the oversight and management of project staff. The candidate will work closely with the Environmental Division Manager and Business Development Director in actively marketing this business area in accordance with designated strategies, markets, and goals through proposal efforts and presentations, personal networking, and involvement in professional associations and organizations. The successful candidate should have a thorough understanding of local, state, and federal environmental regulations, and of the Arizona environmental market.

Education: B.S/ M.S (or equivalent) degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related field.

Required Skills:
Candidates should be self-motivated, have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic. The successful candidate should have 15+ years of experience in the environmental industry in the Phoenix area and have a proven track record of successful practice building in the environmental market.
