Purpose and Description

This front line individual routinely interact with clients throughout the job; from first introductions at commencement through responding to clients requests during the course of the job, this individual represents Brian-Kyles in both a courteous and professional manner.  This position directs a team of 2-3 members ensuring that jobs are completed to company standards in both the most time efficient and safe manner possible.  This position transitions into winter employment through assisting with snow and ice related duties.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities

·         Perform various landscape labor functions in accordance with most recent Landscape Industry Standards

·         Installation of interlocking pavers, garden & retaining walls, concrete and stamped concrete patios.

·         Safely lead and direct a crew of 2-3 personnel

·         Basic understanding of common irrigation systems

·         Prepare truck for the day – load and secure equipment on trucks / trailers

·         Basic understanding of low-voltage lighting system

·         Perform routine safety inspections of both vehicle and trailer on a daily basis

·         Safety of crew and surroundings

·         Plant and install perennials, shrubs, and trees – bed preparation, plant materials in accordance with S.O.P.

·         Read both landscape and construction prints and interpret symbols

 

Required Job Qualifications

·         Minimum of 3 years of experience in Landscape related position

·         Valid Ohio Driver’s license with the ability to meet company insurance requirements

·         Ability to pass background and drug screenings

·         Experience in using all types of landscape equipment; skid-steers, tracked loaders, hand-held equipment.

·         Great attitude

·         Ability and desire to advance within our growing organization

·         Effective communication skill and the ability to interact with team leaders, team members, and clientele.

Salary

 $ 38,000 - $ 45,000 annually
